Advanced Detail Package - Paint Correction
Please note that all detail packages now require a $50 reservation deposit. This deposit will be deducted off the total cost of the detail and is fully refundable if the scheduled appointment is canceled with at least 24 hours notice.
An automotive enthusiast, no matter what field he/she is from, knows how to appreciate a fine body and attention to detail. What better way to show his/her appreciation for such things then to have a virtually flawless paint? Our Paint Correction detail packages do just that. They restore your vehicle's paint to an almost-new state while costing only a fraction of what it would to have it professionally repainted.
We begin with properly cleaning and degreasing the vehicle, following up with numerous decontaminations of the paint including the clay bar. Once cleaned, we inspect the paint and tape off any trims that could be damaged. We then begin correcting the paint via machine polishing, making sure to take care of each and every section of the paint. Once the time consuming correction is done, we go over the vehicle once more and remove all polishing residue before preparing it for protection.
Paint correction is a very long, time consuming process. Companies and detailers claiming they can do multiple steps in just one day are more than likely to cut corners that won't necessarily be apparent right away but will make themselves obvious with time. Also, be weary of detailers and companies that "over-do it," some will over-glorify their process making it look fancier than it is. Be careful of the ones offering you 5-7-9-or-more step corrections. In the most demanding cases, 3 steps will almost always take care of everything. A 4th step can be done (wet sanding), but only in very rare instances.

Process: -Wheels receive a complete, in and out cleaning using Wheel Cleaner. This Ph neutral formula results in a bright, clean wheel. Wheels are then dried off. -Wheels then receive a layer of wheel sealant to ease further cleaning and to help prevent brake dust from clinging to them. The tires are dressed. -Vehicle is sprayed down with Snow Foam (Auto Shampoo). The shampoo is left to dwell for a few minutes and rinsed off to remove the layer of loose dirt which is easily moved and that could potentially scratch the paint if rubbed right away. |
-Vehicle is sprayed again with Auto Shampoo. This time, it is washed with the two bucket method to remove any dirt that did not rinse loose the first time.
-Vehicle is washed with a degreasing agent to remove all waxes, sealants and any other chemicals that have been previously applied. This step is done twice to ensure that all chemicals are removed. This leaves fresh exposed paint, ready for decontamination.
-Vehicle receives a chemical decontamination to remove all tar and iron deposits from the paint.
-Vehicle is decontaminated with the Clay Bar and Clay Lubricant. This goes in depth and removes virtually all contaminants that are embedded in the paint and were not removed through the washing stages.
-Trims that could be damaged are taped off or removed if possible.
-Paint is carefully corrected with machine polishing. This step is the longest one and may take upwards of 15 hours on it's own depending on what the vehicle requires and the package chosen.
-Vehicle is cleaned and wiped free of dust and residues from polishing.
-Vehicle is inspected and jeweled to further enhance the gloss of the clear coat.
-Vehicle is protected with a layer of silica sealant. This will ensure that the vehicle is protected for many months to come.
-Windows receive Aquapel treatment.
Time/Price:
8+ hours - Starting at $400 (Price may vary upon inspection of vehicle)
