What is Detailing? It just seems like an expensive car wash.
While cleaning a vehicle is a key part of detailing, detailing consists of much more than that. A quick wash at an automatic or hand car wash only washes the surface of your vehicle with very low quality soaps and acid cleaners in some cases. These remove any form of protection on your vehicle and expose it to the harmful elements. Also note that most hand car washes often do more damage than good because of the use of improper washing techniques and old wash media.
At Elegance Auto Restylng, I go in depth to properly clean and decontaminate the vehicles paint before correcting and protecting it. I only use the highest quality products and use proper techniques to do so. Before even setting a date, I graciously take the time to sit down with every new customer and carefully explain each step of my services, their reasons and their benefits, thus giving the client a better understanding of the importance of my work and to help guide them in the right direction before choosing what service is right for them.

What can I do to keep my car looking good longer?

After every detail, I personally give each owner tips and tricks as well as product recommendations to maintain their vehicle. In some cases, I can even arrange to order professional products for clients if they so desire.
When is it most important to have my car detailed?

Winter, being a harsh time with road salt and grime, combined with less frequent washes can have devastating effects on a vehicle's paint work. A proper preparation in the Fall protects a vehicle for the months to come.
Once Winter has passed and the protection begins to lose its effectiveness, a follow-up is highly recommended to properly clean and rid the vehicle of any clinging salt remains and contamination. This is also the perfect time to make the vehicle look its best for the warm season with a polish.

What is a "step?"
Many aesthetic centers and detailers will claim they have many different steps when detailing, often to glorify their work with a large number. But what does that number really mean? In most cases, not much.
I don't "fluff" anything up. I simply tell it like it is. My paint correction packages vary based on the number of steps required to achieve the desired level of correction. Each step consists of a combination of 1 pad and 1 polishing product. If either of these is changed, it then becomes a different step. It really is that simple.

Are you mobile or do I have to bring my car to you?
All vehicles have to be brought to my location. I do not offer mobile detailing.
Are there cancellation fees?
There is a $50 cancellation fees if you choose to cancel or reschedule your appointment within less than 48 hours. I always try to get in touch to confirm appointments a few days prior, but it should be on the vehicle's owner to let me know as soon as possible if an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
